Sunny is a short sale and foreclosure defense attorney to watch this year!. Sunny's practice focus is short sale negotiations and mortgage foreclosure defense. She has successfully negotiated short sale approvals with major financial institutions located across the country. Additionally, Sunny has successfully represented clients in avoiding foreclosure through litigation and mediation. Sunny works closely with her clients to understand her clients' needs and to advise as to the most effective course of action to take in each of her clients' unique situation.

What sets Sunny apart from other attorneys is her personal attention to her clients and her ability to achieve results. With respect to short sales, Sunny consistently gets short sales approved with full deficiency waivers. She not only educate her clients about the short sale process so that they understand the short sale process, but she is personally available to her clients throughout the duration. With respect to mortgage foreclosure defense, Sunny regularly gets foreclosure sales postponed so that her clients can achieve more favorable options such a short sale, a loan modification, or a deed in lieu. As a former mortgage foreclosure attorney for a national bank, Sunny is aware of the internal policies and procedures that the banks follow, and uses her special knowledge for her clients' benefit.

Sunny is on the Board of Directors for the Orange County Bar Association, Young Lawyers' Section, and the Board of Directors for the Greater Orlando Asian American Bar Association. In 2006, 2007, and 2008, Sunny co-chaired the Young Lawyers' Section Annual Charitable Golf Tournament and raised over $ 35.000.00 for various charitable organizations. Sunny writes the "Side Bar" column for the Orange County Bar Association's monthly magazine, The Briefs, a column that explores what local voluntary bar associations are doing within the community. Sunny also volunteers with the Legal Aid Society of Orange County, a private, non-for-profit organization that assists low-income residents in Orange County, by answering telephones on Saturday mornings.

Sunny earned her Bachelor of Arts in History and Classical Civilizations from the University of Toronto, and her Juris Doctor from Michigan State University College of Law.
